Your Qualwood Magnetic Hanger is designed to
securely hold and display your best wall hanging. The following suggestions
may help you install the hanger.
Installing the Screws in the Wall:
1. Before you attach your wall hanging to the
hanger you should locate and install the screws that will hold the hanger to
the wall. The hanger has keyhole slots on the back that will hang on the heads
of screws.
2. The type of screws used will depend on the
wall material and construction. Select screws which can be securely installed
in the wall and which have a head that fits into the keyhole slots.
3. At each keyhole slot a small hole is drilled
completely through the hanger. Hold the back against the wall. Be sure it is
at the proper height and is level. Now push the small nail (attached) through
each of the small holes to mark the wall location of each screw. Install a
screw at each mark.
4. Test by installing the hanger on the screws
to ensure it fits correctly.
Attaching Your Wall Hanging:
Your Magnetic Hanger has a series of round
magnets spaced along its length. Your wall hanging will be attached to the
magnets with the round back pins that are provided.
1. Place your wall hanging face down on a flat
surface. Place the hanger next to the top edge of the hanging.
2. Now attach one of the pins to the back of
your wall hanging opposite each magnet. The pin should be about ˝
inch from the top edge of the hanging.
3. Hang the hanger on the wall and then stick
each pin to the appropriate magnet.
Warning: The magnets are very strong. Do not
remove the pins from the magnets by pulling on the fabric. You may damage your
wall hanging. The
pins are easily removed by sliding them off the magnets.
Remember, keep these, or any other magnets,
away from electronic equipment and items with magnetically stored data such as
credit cards or computer disks.
